Baby Bentley is Here!!

Bentley Clarice Allen was born around 12 PST. She weighs 6 lbs 1 oz, (tiny thing!) but is 19 inches long!! She has dark eyes, skin, and hair (not from the Allen side!) has Allen toes, and is soooooooo cute!!! They are both doing well. My mom is heading down there tomorrow! Moka should be going home tomorrow as well. Here are some pictures!

Good News

I went to the allergy doctor on wednesday and..... I have no allergies to bees, peanuts, milk, (all food they tested except they didn't test for seafood)! But I am allergic to cats (of course I already knew that) and almost every kind of tree, grass, wild grass, bush etc... I'm totally a member of this family! I should be okay this spring and summer, but with a lot of sneezing and stuffy noses. I finally got something that should help clear out my nose and sinuses, ( it sounds funny) I have to wash my nose twice a day. They said it should take 6-12 months for it to get better, but hopefully less! I'm so glad. Now I don't have to worry about allergies. yessssssss. They also tested my lungs. I have 120% lung capacity! Just like my mom, and I have no asthma.

So that's that. Today I gave a talk! My talk was on scripture study. It went well!! Well, considering that there wasn't very many people there. I guess a lot of people forgot that there was daylight savings! (or losings, or whatever) Tonight there is a stake piano recital that I'm playing in. They wanted a night were people could perform so that Sacrament meeting isn't like a piano recital. We don't have to play church songs either, I'm playing the theme from Jurassic Park! Maybe I could videotape it. (well me performing at home) And also there is my tryout for the school talent show tomorrow, and I'm playing the piano too!

It's soo nice and warm right now. I love it! I just went for a walk and it feels so nice. Does anyone know how to get a cute layout and still be able to have links and everything on the side? I need help. That's all for right now!

Back from the Doctor's

Now I'm back from the doctor's office and nothing is seriously wrong, I got a referral to the ENT (ear nose and throat) doctor. The doctor said that I don't have a sinus infection, but that it's probably allergies. I'm glad I can go to the allergy doctor to finally find out what I'm allergic to. But I'll be so sad if I'm allergic to Jack!!! Also I need to de-stress and not be so anxious about everything. I drive myself crazy sometimes! Does anybody have any ideas on how to not be so stressed and worried? I would appreciate the help!

Catching Up

I signed up for a class, U.S. History on BYU Independent Study. Since I'm here in Canada, obviously i'm not learning U.S. history. History is actually one of my favorite subjects! I was sad that I wouldn't be learning it in school. The U.S. history course has 4 parts! So I'll probably have to take all four. It's okay because I already started the first one and it's interesting, I'm already learning, and it's kind of fun! Since I'm moving back for high school, I'll have to be caught up. No offense to Canadian history, but I'll have to say that American history is more fun and interesting. I had Canadian history last year, and I think we learned almost everything in just one year. I'm kind of glad I was able to learn it, because now I have a bigger backround on world history. Before I just thought Canada was just always there, and that they didn't really have to do much. I was wrong! America is actually older than Canada, and Canada went through a lot of fights to see which group would be in control. Why do you think that Canada is half English, half French (plus First Nations) Because they both wanted to win. Anyways I'm excided to learn American History!!!

Oh ya, you're probably wondering why I'm posting at 10:45 on a school day, well I was sick this morning. (kind of still am) I'm going to school during lunch, and I'm going to the doctor's this afternoon. I'm tired of being sick!!! I've been sick in one way or another since October. Long story short, I might be allergic to bees, I don't have celiac disease, diabetes, anemia, or deficiency, ( i've had 2 blood tests). I'm going to the allergy doctor in March. I might have gluten intolerance, and lactose intolorance. Plus I think I've had a sinus infection for like 4 months. yuck. Oh plus I had an x-ray of my face and head for sinus problems, and everything is pretty much good, (nothing major is wrong). We're going to ask the doctor for a referral to the ear, nose, and throat doctor because I haven't been to one since before we moved. My ear with the hole from my tubes has been hurting so we need to check it. Plus I've been going to the chiropractor since October because My lower back curves in a lot, ( it's actually kind of freaky, jk) and my neck was almost straight when it's supposed to be curved. (i had x-rays for that too) It's getting better though. I suggest going to the chiropractor, it can help problems when nothing seems to work. (maybe except for me, hahha) I will get better, just gotta push through the hard times.

Break

I've had a pretty long school break, I had thursday and friday off for a teacher's convention, then today was "Family Day", Canada doesn't have President's Day so they decided to make up their own holiday. I went shopping today. I didn't find much, I want American stores! We were in "The Bay" which is like a Sears, and I told my mom, "Where's a Target when you need one??" One thing that really annoys me about the malls here is that once you buy something, it probably won't be long until you find someone else who's wearing it! Like my friend Julianna got these new jeans for her birthday and she's like "I've already seen 3 people wearing them!" That's a reason why I love shopping in the states. So much better variety! But people here still have Hollister and Abercrombie, (in edmonton) but I don't really shop there that much anyway. Hooray for online shopping!
