Emails Please!

I really want to blog, but then I don't write about the things that I want to in time,(like Christmas Break? YEah I guess it's February now...) then I feel guilty and I end up not writing at all! I keep thinking it'll take too much time. But I want to be able to have a place to write and show my life, and how i'm really feeling. So I'm going to start to blog more, and I want to change my blog around and add stuff.

But I was thinking, who is really reading my blog? I imagine people I don't even know looking at my pictures and stuff, and what if they come and try to find me? I guess i'm a little paranoid :) so I think I am going to go private, for real. So if you want to read my blog, and even if you think you don't know me very well or we don't talk as much, I want to hear from you!! I want to not worry about posting. So send me your email, on blogger, facebook, in person etc. if you would like to read my blog! and I promise i'll post more :)!!

Time for an update!

Woah, my life has been so busy! A lot has happened or I've done, so I'll just write down some of it. Let's see..

This week was one of the busiest in my life! No joke!

Last Sunday: I was finishing up a project that was due the next day, of course. We also babysat the Korella's girls which was fun! They are so cute!

Monday: Early morning seminary~Chemistry final~Voice lessons~

Tuesday: E.M.~Algebra final~My mom left for California and we were stuck in this -20 degree Farenheit weather!!! (it is still super cold)

For Young Women's we had a combined Christmas party with another ward. We had to do a skit/dance/performance of some kind, and we decided to do a chin lip-sync to Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas :) if you don't know what that is, go to youtube and type in chin lip-sync! I made these little christmas hats for us to wear, they were really easy!
Wednesday: E.M.~ Performances in social studies~ etc etc

Thursday: Seminary Christmas party! we had hot coco and watched Mr. Kruger's Christmas~My school had a Winter Review performance (it's an art school BTW) and my musical theater group got to perform our Mini-Musical of Hairspray! I played Corny Collins and Edna. We did three songs and I sang Nicest Kids in Town. It went okay! My dad said it was his favorite act, but after little 5th graders sreaming into a mic while doing a puppet show and 5+ "Stomp" performances (and "artistic" piece with drums and buckets and what not) he might be right. LOL! I was so relived to be done performing it for the parents b/c it was so nerve-racking!

Friday: LAST DAY OF SCHOOOl!!(for two weeks at least) We performed again in front of the whole school, after that was done I was REALLY relived! After this crazy week I was so happy to be done with it all!

Now for some more good news....

I got my part for my school's production of Peter Pan!
.
..
....
......
........

Mrs. Darling!

She's only in the first act, but it will still be really fun! I've got to work on my English accent...

Something else really exciting! I don't remember if I blogged about it, but a painting I did from a picture of my niece Makayla and I, first got to be in a shop by my school (they take art from my school). Then it was selected to be in the School Board of Education Annual Report! It's on the back. http://www.cbe.ab.ca/aboutus/documents/07-08/AERR_online.pdf.

I can't wait to go to Utah for Christmas! We are driving down with Hank and Emily. We are having Christmas at my grandparents, and Mike, Moka, and Bentley are coming down the day after! We're going to stay at Snowbird and go snowboarding!! It'll be my first time going, and it's about time! It'll be really fun. I'm also really excited to hang out with my friends and go ice skating! It'll also be nice to be in weather that isn't below zero. Yay! We also get to talk to Matt on Christmas! !!!!!!! (some more explanation points if I don't have enough!!!) hehe. I'm just glad to not have much homework and have to wake up at 6!

Last of Summer!!

Even though it is wayy past the summer I still want to blog about the rest of the stuff I did!! When I got to Utah I stayed with my cuz Maddie!! We went to Seven Peaks, went shopping, and hung out. Then I went to my friend Katelyn's house, who's from my old ward. We went shopping, stayed up until 2, talked a lot, and had fun!

Yes I am posting this picture. and I'll let you know that I did not buy any of these lovely items!!

our "models"

After I spent time with my friends from my ward, I stayed at Calli's house. The day I got there we went to Park City outlets, went shopping, (i know...) roasted mallows (marshmellows) at calli's, went swimming until 10:30, and on friday was the Breaking Dawn premire! Barnes and Noble had a wedding reception type thing, which we dressed up for. I was excited 'cuz the dress I got was $5!! (i love Ross). The whole day was kind of long b/c we got there at 7:15ish friday morning, and waited for a couple of hours to get a wristband that told us our place in line that night.
we looked like hobo's! :)

Then after we went to Ihop. That night we went back for the partay and it was CRAZY busy!! (Carlie, I'm sure you know what I mean...) We played Alice bingo and killed time until 11:30 when everyone lined up outside. We were so glad we got our wristband that morning b/c it probably saved us 3+ hours of waiting!! We had our books by 12:30. It was my first time at a premire of anything and I had a great time!

All dolled up!

Finally!

The week after was what we had been waiting for... EFY! We went to Provo. The 3 of us had signed up together, but I wasn't put in their group :( We did spend all of our spare time together and our buildings were close to each other. (we were both in Heritage) I got to meet a lot of great people, the classes and teachers were great, my counselors were fun, the dances were fun, and I love BYU! Oh ya, we also had an awesome session director, Brad Wilcox! He was hilarious and you could tell that he really loves the youth. He told the best stories! Another great experience (and kind of funny) was that the Young Women's President, Sister Dalton, was coming to visit our session! (it was the first time she's ever done that) Also Kenneth Cope was going to perform. All of the "international" kids were going to be able to meet them. Keep in mind that some were from Indonesia, Australia, Europe.. then there was me!! I'm not exactly international, but my tag did say I was from Canada! It was an awesome experience!

All of the girls in my group!

Brother Wilcox and Me

The last big thing I did in Utah was my old stake's girls camp! The theme was "Stripling Warrior Princesses". A lot of my old friends from school were there too! It was a week long camp at Heber Valley camp. It's a really nice place for those of you who haven't been there! It had cabins, (not tents!) showers, and indoor bathrooms! (my kind of camp, lol) It was a great week, even though I was tired! I got to spend a lot of time with people I don't see that often.

That's moi!

I drove back to Canada with my friend Amanda! Her mom is from Taber and she had a high school reunion. Manda got to come stay with me, which was a lot of fun! After she left, it was time to start think about school starting again, and summer ending :'( Thanks to everyone who made my summer so awesome!! Those memories will last a long, long time.

Buddies since 1st grade!!

Summer!! part 2- California

In the middle of July, I flew to California with Melissa, who was moving in with Mike and Moka! I stayed there for a few days. They had just barely moved to their new house in Laguna Beach, so they were busy! I still had an awesome time. Mac and Perry were with their dad, but I got to spend time with Bentley!!

Mike did a triathalon at Camp Pendleton while I was there. He did really well for his first time. I thought it was cool, it was my first time at one! I hope I can race or do something like that when I'm older!

Mike's friend Greg and his whole family were on a vacation in California, so they all came over and we had a b-b-q and went to the beach. He has a sister that is a couple of grades ahead of me and is friends with my friend Jenessa! It was a fun night.

I also saw Dark Night, it was way freaky and creepy! But, when I was at EFY I would always ask who I was dancing with if they had seen it, and I could say that I had!! :P

Oh ya, I also went shopping!! (of course!:) We went to Nordstroms Anniversery sale, and I got some awesome stuff (and deals)! I also got some new eyeshadow and brushes that I love!

Moka curled my hair!

I wish I could look at this every night! Gorgeous!

summer-SUMMAH! part 1-at home

Okay now it is time for my way long post about my awesome summer!! So school got out at the end of June and I was just happy to not have any homework or tests or make-up work for 2 months!!

The day after school got out our ward had girl's camp and it was fabulous!! The theme was the Amazing Race and my leaders definately went the extra mile! Everything was so cute. 1st we were on teams (go red!!:).

Our camp was about 45 minutes away. We had one trailer and 3 tents. The camp was nice and it had indoor bathrooms, a challenge course, a pool, and archery! Our leaders made a clue box and put a "clues" in it which had our activity or challenge in it. When the Amazing Race theme song played we all ran to the clue box!
Even though our group was small, I got to know every one better and we got to spend time together! Yw's camp is the best, isn't it? (next to oakcrest and efy!!)

The softball season ended, and it was kind of sad! I hade a really fun team this year. We came in 3rd place in the city tournament, which I was happy about! We did really well in our games. One night we had a double header. The first game we won, the second game we won as well, but it wasn't without sacrifice ( my leg). Let me tell the story. I hit a far hit, so I was running around the bases. As I came to third my coach told me to keep going, but when I was halfway to home she was yelling for me to come back. I wasn't going to just stop so I kept going! I did my best slide so far into home and it was a homerun! I was so excited. But it was a mistake to not be wearing a slider on my left leg, because I got a huge dirt rash practically the size of my hand! It is still fading, three months later! Gotta love softball!

We had our team party at my coach's house and we went swimming and played Rock Band!!
