It's amazing what you can accomplish in a day

I didn't have school yesterday and I don't on Monday too (it's Victoria Day). Yesterday I got around to doing a lot! like:
I cleaned my whole bathroom, (except for a few drawers heehee) and we went shopping.
We bought a new shower curtain, toothbrush holder, towel, and rugs!! It was definetly time to redecorate it. It's funny how sometimes you don't think that you have to re-do something or change something, but when you do you think "how could I stand it the old way it was?" here are some pictures!

We also finally bought curtains for my room! Oh ya, I haven't even shown the bedspread I got!! Remember my post a while back when I couldn't decide? The one I chose wasn't even on that list. It's from PB Teen.

At Micheal's I bought a super cute (pages already put together, just add pictures!) scrapbook. I'm probably going to use it for my trip to California. I was thinking for a Personal Progress project I could make scrapbooks of some of my trips I've been on. Let's see, Nauvoo/St. Louis, New York, California, Texas, Utah (when I've lived up here) and maybe camps I've done too. This is what it looks like:

Here is a picture of my new favorite make-up, M-A-C!!! This is all I have but it's a start. I LOVE the lipgloss, it's my fav! If you ever need an idea for my birthday present or just for any day..... try mac! ;)

I have a lot of pictures! I got a digital camara from Target when I was in California. It's nice, pink, and you can take pretty good pictures! (you can also change the little plate where you put your fingers. it can with two other designs) It was only $107!I just have to figure out the date in the corner. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? Aunt Christy and Uncle Chuck are up for the weekend or until wednesday or thursday! I love having visitors and we are going to go to Banff next week. The weather is sooo nice right now. It was 85 today!! I LOVE spring/summer!

Softball

Yesterday I had two softball games, (it's seeding round) and they were both in the north at a nice new park. They even had real dugouts!! Our home diamond is just at a school. The dugouts were nice, except (as you might be able to see in the pictures) the fence in front only comes up halfway. Well, towards the end of the first game I sat down on the bench, (the only time I sat down during the game) and someone on my team hit a foul and it ricocheted off a pole and hit me on the back of my shoulder!! It hurt for a while, but I don't think I even have a bruise! I wonder why they didn't put up the rest of the fence....

We lost our first game by a lot, but it was a division 1 level team (we're division 2) and one of our pitchers wasn't there. I caught the whole game. We won the next game though!! It was our first win so far. I like my team a lot, I've already made friends. I got a new bat this year, it's pink!! I love it. Here are some action shots...

My trip!

I'm home now and I had a great time in California! I went shopping, (Target, Pac Sun, Hollister, Ulta Beauty; i got a new straightener, etc!!) I also got a digital camera from Target that was pretty cheap and is super cute! (pink) We went to Laguna Beach, where we saw dolphins, and Balboa Island, where we saw sea lions sitting on someones boat! I went to Mike and Moka's ward and the chapel there is so pretty and yw's was nice. Moka and I wanted to go try Bickram yoga which is where you do yoga in a really hot room. It detoxes your body and loosens up your muscles. We got there for the 8:15 class, but we looked on the paper and there was no class at that time on Tuesdays! We were bummed but i'll have to try it here. I got to babysit the kids a couple of times. I love the kids, and Bentley is so cute! She is growing a lot and knows how to smile! She loves laying on your chest and loves to cuddle. I miss them so much already! My mom and dad got back from Africa safely! I'll see if I can post some of their pictures. They went on a safari, (saw almost every animal) my dad golfed, they went to a lake that has the highest population of birds, and went to the markets! They brought back tons of cool stuff. They visited my dad's friend John and his family who are living in Kenya. They had an amazing experience!

Now it's back to regular life and softball's started! I have pictures and a game tomorrow. My team is called the Hurricanes. I also have to get back to school tomorrow, only 2 more months! Headin' down the homestretch! Now it's getting pretty busy. Tonight I have a fireside. They renovated our chapel. Now we have nice new carpet, new choir seats, and new paint! It's very nice. Saturday there is a groundbreaking for our new chapel! Very exciting!!

California!

Soryy I haven't written lately! Well as the title says, i'm in California visiting Mike, Moka, and the kids! My mom and dad are in Africa (they left last wednesday, the 9th)! I stayed with my friend Sierra then yesterday I flew here!! Bentley is so adorable and Mac and Perry are so fun and cute! I'll hopefully get new pictures up soon. I've gotten to babysit the kids and cuddle with Bentley! I love being an aunt. This week we'll get to go shopping, the beach, swimming, and play lots! It's so nice here compared to the 14 degrees,snowing, and black ice I left! I love California and it's so calming to be here. I'll write again soon!!!

Baby Bentley is Here!!

Bentley Clarice Allen was born around 12 PST. She weighs 6 lbs 1 oz, (tiny thing!) but is 19 inches long!! She has dark eyes, skin, and hair (not from the Allen side!) has Allen toes, and is soooooooo cute!!! They are both doing well. My mom is heading down there tomorrow! Moka should be going home tomorrow as well. Here are some pictures!

Good News

I went to the allergy doctor on wednesday and..... I have no allergies to bees, peanuts, milk, (all food they tested except they didn't test for seafood)! But I am allergic to cats (of course I already knew that) and almost every kind of tree, grass, wild grass, bush etc... I'm totally a member of this family! I should be okay this spring and summer, but with a lot of sneezing and stuffy noses. I finally got something that should help clear out my nose and sinuses, ( it sounds funny) I have to wash my nose twice a day. They said it should take 6-12 months for it to get better, but hopefully less! I'm so glad. Now I don't have to worry about allergies. yessssssss. They also tested my lungs. I have 120% lung capacity! Just like my mom, and I have no asthma.

So that's that. Today I gave a talk! My talk was on scripture study. It went well!! Well, considering that there wasn't very many people there. I guess a lot of people forgot that there was daylight savings! (or losings, or whatever) Tonight there is a stake piano recital that I'm playing in. They wanted a night were people could perform so that Sacrament meeting isn't like a piano recital. We don't have to play church songs either, I'm playing the theme from Jurassic Park! Maybe I could videotape it. (well me performing at home) And also there is my tryout for the school talent show tomorrow, and I'm playing the piano too!

It's soo nice and warm right now. I love it! I just went for a walk and it feels so nice. Does anyone know how to get a cute layout and still be able to have links and everything on the side? I need help. That's all for right now!
